about
I.S. Rowley crawled out of a northern England spoil tip at the nadir of Thatcher's reign, and is still finding their feet. Their creative-critical PhD, completed at UEA in 2015, explores connections between midwifery and poetic practice, and includes a 20,000-word love letter to the spectre of Mina Loy that tries and fails to sustain a delirial rigour. A collection of poems_ The Undeliverable_ was published by Hesterglock in 2017.
