jamal rashad

about

jamal rashad is an optimist when careful, a massage therapist, and poet. He is an MFA candidate at American University for poetry. He received a fellowship from The Watering Hole Poetry. His work has been featured in Cafe Con Leche, Radar Productions, and Argot Magazine. jamal uses motifs of horror and blues to interrogate the intersections of Black Queer identity. His most recent project, “Imagoes: A Queer Anthology” (LP&P) was published in July 2019.
